A study on the deesis Mosaic of Christ by Sophia Hagia (14th Century).

Incorporating the concept of Pan-Africanism and the portrayal of God as genderless and black. The Pan-African flag holds great meaning; Black represents the black people of Africa. Red represents the blood that unites people of African ancestry. Gold represents wealth of natural resources and minerals that continue to be exploited till this day. And Green depicts fertility of African land.
